Isabel De Clercq knows what “going social” means and entails. She describes her role at Wolters Kluwer Belgium as Trend Catcher, Sparkle Architect and Fire Starter. De Clercq is committed to inspire people and organisations into becoming digitally fit and she strongly believes that those who fail to embrace a more social way of working will soon be lagging behind.
In 2017, De Clercq brought together a group of professionals who “believe technology helps organisations become great places where people create value through interaction and interdependency”. Together, they wrote the book Social Technologies in Business: Connect | Share | Lead which highlights the key opportunities for “going social” and, also, some of the associated challenges. The principles of working out loud (WoT) and the idea of social technologies as a way of giving people a voice, permeate the book’s pages.
Drawing on a range of practical examples, Isabel De Clercq will take the stage at Social Now 2018 to talk about social technologies as a vital catalyst for organisational and individual transformation. During her keynote presentation she will take participants through:
- the individual and organisational benefits of “going social”;
- the link between social and digital transformation;
- understanding and dealing with resistance to social technologies;
- the critical success factors for using social technologies.
